Terms of Service
Last updated: pre-launch private testing phase
These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your use of Qwiz Live, a live audience quiz service provided by WolfMark Ltd. By creating an account, accessing the dashboard, hosting a room, or joining a quiz as a viewer, you agree to these Terms.
The service during testing
Qwiz Live is currently offered in a private, pre-launch testing phase for invited hosts and their audiences. Features, limits, availability, and pricing are subject to change. We make no commitment that the service will be uninterrupted or error-free during this phase. You use it at your own discretion while we gather feedback and stabilise the product.
Acceptable use
You must not use Qwiz Live to:
- Host, display, or distribute content that is illegal, harmful, abusive, hateful, or infringing.
- Harass, impersonate, or mislead participants.
- Attempt to reverse-engineer, probe, or interfere with the service infrastructure or other users.
Display names and any chat or on-screen text must be appropriate for the audience you are streaming to. We may remove or hide names or content that violate these rules.
Your responsibility for content
You are solely responsible for the questions, answers, images, and any other material you create, import, or use in your rooms and packs. WolfMark Ltd does not pre-approve or moderate the quiz content you choose to present to your audience. You must ensure your content complies with applicable laws and the platform policies of the service where you stream.
Viewer participation
Viewers join quizzes using a room code or link and choose a display name for that session only. They do not create accounts with us. Hosts are responsible for moderating players in their sessions (rename, hide, or kick) and for any interaction between the quiz and their live audience.
Accounts and access
You are responsible for keeping your host account credentials secure. You must not share access to your dashboard or allow others to run sessions under your account unless you accept full responsibility for their actions.
Service availability and changes
We may add, remove, or change features, limits, or pricing at any time, especially while the service is in testing. We may pause or restrict access for maintenance, abuse, legal reasons, or capacity. During private testing there is no SLA.
Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, WolfMark Ltd and its suppliers are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for loss of profits, revenue, data, or business opportunities, arising out of or related to your use of (or inability to use) Qwiz Live — even if advised of the possibility.
Our total liability for any claim relating to the service will not exceed the amount you actually paid us for the service in the 12 months preceding the claim (or £0 if you have paid nothing, as is the case during free private testing).
Intellectual property and attribution
The Qwiz Live software, design, and branding remain the property of WolfMark Ltd. The service may display “Powered by Qwiz Live” or similar attribution on overlays and viewer pages. You may not remove or obscure required attribution except where a paid plan expressly permits it.
Termination
You may stop using the service at any time. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms or for other reasonable cause. Upon termination, your right to access the service ends and we may delete or retain data in line with our privacy information and legal obligations.
Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales, unless mandatory local law requires otherwise.
Contact
For questions about these Terms or the service, use the contact details on the Support page. For private testing, support details will be provided to invited hosts before wider invites.
This is an early, plain-English version of the terms for private pre-launch testing with invited users. WolfMark Ltd is the contracting legal entity. A fuller solicitor-reviewed version will be published before any paid or public early-access offering.
